By accessing and using Docifra, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

Service description

Docifra is a set of tools to work with PDF files (merge, split, compress, convert, OCR, protection, AI features, etc.). Processing runs in your browser; we do not receive your files.

The service is free and requires no account. The AI features use your own API key from a third-party provider (Anthropic), whose usage you pay directly to that provider.

Acceptable use

You agree to use Docifra only for documents you own or are authorized to handle, and in compliance with applicable laws.

You must not use the service to bypass protections you do not own, or attempt to disrupt its operation.

Your files and backups

Because processing is local, you are solely responsible for your files, their accuracy and their backup. Always verify the produced files before relying on them. We have no way to recover a document, since we never receive it.

Intellectual property

You keep all rights to the documents you process. The site itself, its brand, design and code remain the property of their respective owners and may not be copied or reused without permission.

No warranty

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, absence of errors or continuous availability.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim liability for direct or indirect damages, including data loss, arising from the use or inability to use the service. You use Docifra at your own risk.

Availability

We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. The service may be changed, suspended or discontinued at any time, without notice.

Changes to the terms

These terms may be updated. The last-updated date appears at the top of the page; continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the terms in force.
